Dimethicone cream 10% pump issue resolved

Some pumps for dimethicone cream 10% bottles were faulty (Pharmacode: 2702932).

Jaychem advises that bottles with new unaffected pumps are entering the market. There may still be some affected bottles in the supply chain.

Affected product

Jaychem advised us of an issue with dimethicone cream 10% pump bottles. Some batches have a faulty pump mechanism on some bottles, so far faults have been identified with batches B68922 and B68924. Not all pumps are affected, Jaychem are expecting a low number of faulty pumps.

The faulty pump has to be removed for people to use the cream. The cream remains safe to use and is of the same quality as usual.

This issue does not affect the 5% pump bottle.
