Due to delays at the manufacturing plant, there is limited stock of Viatris' 1,000 mg Vaclovir tablets (Pharmacode: 2483912).

Due to an issue at Viatris' manufacturing plant, there is limited stock of the following product:

Where the 1000 mg tablet is not available, people can use two x 500 mg tablets. The supplier has ample stock of the 500 mg tablets.

Pharmac is working on listing alternatives of the 1,000 mg presentation.

Resupply is expected by mid-April 2026.
