Propranolol oral liquid: Update
New brand of propranolol oral liquid was funded from 1 June 2025.
Hikma brand funded in the community
Supply of the previously funded brand (Roxane-Propranolol) is no longer available. We have listed the Hikma brand from 1 June 2025. (It is listed as "any brand" in the HML).
This is uncontracted and supply is uncertain with shortages in other countries.

Alternative product
We are working with the Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand to get an approved compounding worksheet.
Once approved, it will be posted to the Pharmaceutical Society's website.
