Viatris, the supplier, advises that there were delays at the factory, which lead to a limited supply of rosuvastatin tablets.

Further shipments are scheduled to arrive in March and May 2026.

There was a delay at the factory which delayed some shipments of rosuvastatin tablets.

From 9 January 2026, we listed an alternative 5 mg to ensure people can continue to access this treatment.

This medicine is Medsafe approved.

We funded an alternative product from 11 November 2025. It is approved by Medsafe. All stock has been shipped to wholesalers.

5 mg - stock is available.

10 mg and 20 mg - stock is available and another shipment is expected in May 2026.

40 mg - stock is low. Another shipment is expected before the end of March 2026.
