Biomed is running low on the 50 ml inj (Pharmacode: 2244152) and 100 ml inj (Pharmacode: 2244144) sodium bicarbonate.

There is limited stock available at Biomed of both presentations of sodium bicarbonate injections.

Due to capacity limitations at Biomed, many Biomed products are facing supply constraints. Pharmac is working closely with hospitals and Biomed to set manufacturing priorities. The supplier is running low of the following:

Limited stock available
Biomed has producing stock and releasing it as it's available. Currently, Biomed doesn't anticipate a patient level supply issue. We are continuing to monitor the issue.
