Abbott is no longer making three of its canned products.

Pediasure and Ensure Plus HN are no longer available and have been delisted from the Schedule.
Ensure Plus has likely run out, it will be delisted 1 July 2026, to align with its expiry date.

Abbott's cannery is closing. This affects three funded products. There are alternative products available.

Suggested alternatives
People may need a new prescription and there may be a part charge. A new special authority will not be needed. From 1 July 2025, Ensure Plus and Fortisip are fully funded for people with Crohn's.
