Codeine phosphate (Noumed) 30 mg: Supply issue
Due to delays in sourcing the active ingredient, the supplier may run low on the 30 mg codeine tablets (Pharmacode: 2643219)

Supply of codeine 30 mg tablets is low and may run out before the latest shipment arrives. Where the 30 mg is not available, pharmacists can consider dispensing two x 15 mg tablets.
Resupply is expected to arrive by the end of June 2026. It can take another 1 to 2 weeks to reach pharmacies around the country.
Affected product
The maker of this product has had some difficulty sourcing the active ingredient. This has delayed production and means that that the New Zealand supplier may run low on 30 mg tablets before they are restocked.
