Clinical pharmacology for nurses
Location: Hunter Centre Annex, University of Otago, 71 Frederick St, Dunedin
This seminar will be presented by Dr Elissa McDonald and relevant experts. She will discuss clinical pharmacology as it applies to primary care and common misconceptions about medicines in New Zealand. Dr McDonald will also cover pharmacological principles and mechanisms of action for frequently used drugs.

- Asthma management - current evidence
- Hypertension - current management options
- Diabetes - evidence-based approach
