REQUEST FOR INFORMATION

Thank you for your request dated 28 March 2019 under the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) for information relating to Daivobet Gel.  You asked for a spreadsheet with information on total units, total scripts, number of scripts with >1 pack prescribed and number of patients dispensed for both Daivobet Gel 30 g and 60 g for the periods 1 July 2017 to 30 June 2018 and 1 July 2018 to 28 February 2019.

Please note that:

• You asked for the number of scripts with >1 pack prescribed. We only hold information on scripts that have been dispensed and claimed (for public subsidy). We do not hold information on the total scripts written. There may be scripts that are not dispensed or not dispensed in full.
• Both presentations of Daivobet are funded as original packs. Even if the amount prescribed is less than an original pack, a pharmacy must claim a whole original pack.  
• Daivobet Gel 60 g was listed 1 October 2019.
