Summer holiday hours 2019/20
PHARMAC National Office
The office will be closed from 25 December 2019 to 2 January 2020 inclusive.
Email enquiries will not be checked after 4pm on Friday 20 December. You can expect a response after Monday 6 January.
We will monitor the media email throughout the holiday period. If your request is urgent, call the media phone. Because the office is closed, the information and spokespeople we can provide over the summer holiday period will be limited.

Named Patient Pharmaceutical Assessment (NPPA)
Non-urgent applications must be received by 11 December to ensure they're processed before the end of the year.
We will process urgent requests for in-hospital treatments only via the Connected Health Network or email on 27, 30, 31 December.
Lamotrigine Exceptional Circumstances applications
- Applications will be accepted up to 24 December 2019
- We recommend that applications are submitted before 20 December for decisions to be made before Christmas.
- Emergency applications can be made during the close down period. State clearly if an application is urgent.
Harvoni applications – Hep C treatment for people with severe liver disease
If you need a response to your Harvoni application before Christmas, you must submit it by 5pm Wednesday 11 December.
We will only process urgent requests for treatments via email on 27, 30, 31 December.
Non-urgent applications received after 11 December are unlikely to be processed until the office re-opens.
