Community conversations 2018
In May and June 2018, we’re visiting towns across Aotearoa New Zealand to talk about the work that we do. We also want to hear what you think about the way we seek and use the consumer voice in our work.
Your feedback will help us to know whether the way we do this is working right now, and if not, what improvements we can make.
By ‘consumer voice’ we mean the views of New Zealanders who receive or may receive a funded medicine or medical device.
There are different ways that the consumer voice feeds into our work. We have already heard from some consumers that an area with the potential for improved consumer input is our decision-making process for new pharmaceuticals. We want to hear what you think, as well as any other opportunities you think there are for us.
Attend one of our upcoming community conversations in May and June, and talk to us about how we incorporate the consumer voice into our work.
We will be releasing a discussion document in late May on our website. If you can’t attend a community conversation, we will welcome your feedback to this discussion document.
