The Pharmaceutical Schedule files are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 New Zealand licence.

In essence, you are free to copy, distribute and adapt them, as long as you attribute them to PHARMAC and abide by the other licence terms. While care has been taken in compiling these files, PHARMAC takes no responsibility for any errors or omissions, and shall not be liable for any consequences arising there from.

Notes:

• The publication date is around the 23rd of the month prior to it becoming effective.
• Documentation is included in the Schedule XML schema.
• The printed Schedule is produced from the XML file using XSLT and TeX, so the XML files are preferred over the MSAccess databases contained in the zip files. The MSAccess files are necessary for some legacy systems, but their publication will be discontinued as soon as is practicable.
• Other than the pack id (Pharmacode), all entity identifiers are generated by PHARMAC and do not relate to any other terminology. They can occasionally change without notice.
• Although technical support is only provided for stakeholders in the New Zealand pharmaceutical claiming network, PHARMAC staff will endeavour to answer occasional queries sent to texschedule@pharmac.govt.nz.
