PHARMAC Forum 2009
The 2009 PHARMAC Forum was held in Wellington on 9 October. The Forum was a chance for people with an interest in PHARMAC's work to give us advice on how we can do our job even better. It was also an opportunity for people to find out more about us and what we do.
The Forum was a day-long event involving presentations by PHARMAC and interactive discussions among delegates. Copies of these presentations and related documents can be found here:

PHARMAC Forum 2007
The inaugural PHARMAC Forum was held in Wellington on 3 December 2007. More than 100 of our stakeholders including consumer groups, clinicians, pharmacists, the pharmaceutical industry and Government sector attended to share their perspectives on PHARMAC and our work.
Discussion groups were held around three presentations. These were:
How can we improve our relationships with stakeholders? (14 pages, 882 KB)
How can the medicines funding process be improved? (14 pages, 1587 KB)
Optimal use of medicines (13 pages, 3309 KB)
We captured all the feedback people provided and have taken the time to analyse it, and form an action plan in response. This action plan also incorporates actions we are taking in response to the Government's Medicine Strategy, Medicines New Zealand. You can download our summary of the Forum Responses and Actions (28 pages, 395 KB).
