Nicotine Replacement Therapy

Subsidised NRT to be available on Prescription and Quit Card from 1 September 2009

PHARMAC is pleased to announce that from 1 September 2009 nicotine patches, gum and lozenges will be funded on the presentation of either a prescription or a Quit Card. This will enable Practitioners to be able to prescribe subsidised NRT on a prescription, as an alternative to the Quit Cards.
