Approval of proposal to list NovoMix 30 FlexPen and NovoSeven RT and to amend listing for Glucagen Hypokit

PHARMAC is pleased to announce that the approval of an agreement with NovoNordisk Pharmaceuticals Limited. This was the subject of a consultation letter dated 2 May 2012. The proposal was accepted as consulted upon. In summary, the effect of the decision is that:  NovoMix 30 FlexPen will be fully funded in the community and available in DHB hospitals from 1 July 2012. NovoSeven RT will be listed in Section H of the Pharmaceutical Schedule and be available for purchase by DHB hospitals from 1 July 2012. Glucagen Hypokit will continue to be fully funded in the community and listed in Section H of the Pharmaceutical Schedule from 1 July 2012 at a price of $32.00 (exmanufacturer, excluding GST).





Details of the proposal The following products will be listed in Section B of the Pharmaceutical Schedule at the following prices and subsidies (ex-manufacturer, excluding GST) from 1 July 2012:

The following products will be listed in Part II of Section H of the Pharmaceutical Schedule at the following prices (ex-manufacturer, excluding GST) from 1 July 2012:
