TENDER RESULTS

The PHARMAC Board (or Chief Executive under delegated authority) has resolved to accept tenders for Sole Subsidised Supply and Hospital Supply Status for some of the products included in the Invitation to Tender dated 23 December 2008 and the Invitation to Tender dated 4 December 2009. Some of the pharmaceuticals that will be delisted when the period of sole supply commences may be subject to existing listing contracts with PHARMAC. Suppliers of pharmaceuticals that are subject to such contracts should continue to supply their pharmaceuticals under those contracts until such time as the pharmaceuticals are delisted and PHARMAC will continue to subsidise their pharmaceuticals accordingly. Product Notification Forms Please note that for all changes (price change, pack size change, new listing etc) to be effective in the Pharmaceutical Schedule (including Section H) suppliers are required to notify PHARMAC and the Guild by 4pm 12th November 2010. Tenders awarded to pharmaceuticals where an alternative brand is already listed – listing of the hospital tender winning brand of the pharmaceutical will occur in Section H of the Pharmaceutical Schedule on 1 December 2010; Hospital Supply Status and DV Limits will apply from 1 February 2011; delisting of the other brand in Section H will occur on 1 February 2011.
