Proposal for radiological contrast media

PHARMAC is seeking feedback on a proposal to list in Part II of Section H of the Pharmaceutical Schedule, or amend the listing of, a number of radiological contrast media as part of a provisional agreement with Regional Health Limited. In summary, this proposal would result in: § listing of CTPlus, a brand of barium sulphate oral suspension from 1 September 2010; and ongoing listings for Multihance and Ioscan, with a small price increase for Ioscan from 1 September 2010.
