Proposal relating to the listing of flecainide acetate

PHARMAC is seeking feedback on a provisional agreement with Douglas Pharmaceuticals Limited relating to the listing of flecainide acetate (Tambocor and Tambocor CR) in the Pharmaceutical Schedule. Flecainide acetate is used for the prevention of supraventricular and ventricular arrhythmias. Details of the Proposal This proposal would result in the price and subsidy for Tambocor and Tambocor CR being amended in Section B and in Part II of Section H of the Pharmaceutical Schedule (exmanufacturer and exclusive of GST) from 1 February 2010 as follows:
