Proposal for lansoprazole (Solox)
PHARMAC is seeking feedback on a proposal for lansoprazole (Solox) through a provisional agreement with Douglas Pharmaceuticals. Lansoprazole is a proton-pump inhibitor used for various conditions including reflux oesophagitis, duodenal and gastric ulcers. If implemented, the proposal would result in a subsidy and price reduction for Solox in return for subsidy and delisting protection.
