Recent Pharmaceutical Schedule Changes
Brand that is no longer Subsidised Losec Lipex (from August) Panadol
Metoprolol succinate – A new brand (AFT-Metoprolol CR) is fully funded from 1 June. It does not need endorsement for any patients. Atorvastatin – An 80 mg strength is available. Patients requiring an 80 mg dose should be prescribed the 80 mg tablet, if clinically appropriate. Diltiazem – Any patients using Dilzem SR or Dilzem LA should have changed to Cardizem CD as Dilzem will no longer be funded from 1 June.
