Dear Supplier CLARIFICATION: REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS – SOLE SUPPLY OF OMEPRAZOLE We refer PHARMAC’s Request for Proposals for sole supply of omeprazole that was issued on 27 August 2007. We wish to clarify that in addition to proposals for any strength(s) and presentation(s) of omeprazole, we will consider proposals that include products that contain the formulation omeprazole in combination with other pharmaceuticals (i.e. “combination packs”). For example, the current listing in the Pharmaceutical Schedule for omeprazole, amoxycillin and clarithromycin tablets would be acceptable. The following types of proposals will not be considered: · · proposals involving the listing of an omeprazole product along with the listing of other different products (i.e. “bundling arrangements), and proposals involving pharmaceuticals not containing omeprazole (other than in combination packs).

If you have any questions about this RFP, please contact Mike Bignall at PHARMAC by telephone (04) 916-7562 or email mike.bignall@pharmac.govt.nz. Yours sincerely
