Consultation on a provisional agreement with Affordable Healthcare Limited for the terms of listing of omeprazole (Dr Reddy’s Omeprazole) on the Pharmaceutical Schedule

PHARMAC and Affordable Healthcare Limited have entered into a provisional agreement to list omeprazole (Dr Reddy’s Omeprazole) in the Pharmaceutical Schedule. It is anticipated that PHARMAC’s Board (or Chief Executive acting under delegated authority) will consider this proposal in July 2007. If the proposal is approved it would mean: · · Dr Reddy’s Omeprazole would be listed in Section B and Section H of the Pharmaceutical Schedule. The price and subsidy for Dr Reddy’s Omeprazole in Section B, and the price for Dr Reddy’s Omeprazole in Section H of the Pharmaceutical Schedule, would be as follows from 1 October 2007 (ex-manufacturer, excluding GST):

There would be no other changes to the Pharmaceutical Schedule under this proposal.
