Schedule Analyst
PHARMAC is a Crown Entity, recognised for its dynamic management of prescription medicine subsidies. Our objective is to secure for eligible people in need of pharmaceuticals, the best health outcomes that are reasonably achievable from pharmaceutical treatment within the amount of funding provided to us by government. The Schedule Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely production and publication of the Pharmaceutical Schedule, which lists products for which government subsidy is payable. The Pharmaceutical Schedule is produced three times per year. The Schedule Analyst is also responsible for producing monthly Updates to the Pharmaceutical Schedule and managing associated issues. For this part-time role you should ideally: • Have pharmaceutical qualifications or similar. • Have an understanding of and familiarity with current pharmaceutical and related health sector issues. • Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. • Have strong writing and verbal communication skills. • Be a skilled problem solver. • Be able to work to deadlines. • Be able to work as part of a highly motivated team, as well as independently. • Have strong organisational skills and be able prioritise and multi-task. • Thrive on working in a dynamic environment.
